Credit card COMPARISON
For this project my group and I took three different credit card companies (Discover, MasterCard and Visa) to compare the annual percent interest rates and other aspects of a card that dictates the appeal of credit cards to consumers. We than used this information from each card in three different scenarios (worst case, best cases and balanced) so that viewers could see the different outcomes with each card depending on the situation. We then collected helpful tips to help consumers avoid credit card company traps.

Sample Equation
If Nelson makes a payment of $25,000 and pays compounded monthly over 8 months, what is his interest rate if he has a balance of $42,000?

College tuition project
For this project we looked at two colleges (one in state and one out of state) in which we were interested in. We researched their current tuition and room/board rates and then looked at their rates for the past ten years. With this information, linear equations and basic linear graphs were created to find how much each year costed in the past and do discover how much it would cost when we attend college. After calculating how much schooling would cost and how much student loans would be required, we looked at which repayment plan would suit us best and be a reasonable amount to pay each month.
